安全屋/Safe House
这是‘哒哇’诞生后我创作的第一个系列。
《安全屋》系列开始的原因，更多和小时候一样，起始于质疑和表达欲，也是能使我不断重新认识自己的方式。每当我面临冲突、困惑，或是认知上的障碍，唯一能抒发这些复杂情绪的方式，就是通过绘画
——如同一台相机，捕捉不想被忘记的“画面”，而绘画是记录不想被遗忘的“意识”。
从2023年5月，我开始创作这一系列，在那段时间中，不断经历了一些特别的事，所以风格和内容可能会稍有不同。
当然，我会持续更新这个系列。只要我的大脑还在运转，《安全屋》就会不断产生新的东西。

This was the first series I made after Dava really born.
The Safe House series was created with the intention of allowing me to constantly rediscover myself. Whenever I face conflicts, confusion, or cognitive barriers, the only way I can express my complex emotions is through images—like a camera. A camera captures unforgettable material, while painting records unforgettable consciousness. I started creating these works in May 2023, during which I went through some unique experiences, so the style and content may vary a little. Of course, I’ll keep updating this series. As long as my mind stays active, the Safe House will continue to evolve.

这个系列的视觉主要聚焦在脸部。
每一张脸上都有些“瑕疵”————比如划痕、伤疤、痘痘，或者被汗水浸湿的皮肤。
这些小状况，往往是女生在日常生活中感到焦虑的来源。
我想通过插画来体现，这些小状况，也往往是女生在某些时刻中，值得珍惜的美丽时刻。

This part focuses mostly on faces.
Each one carries some kind of “flaw” — like a scratch, a breakout, or skin covered in sweat.
They’re the kind of little things that often make girls feel anxious in daily life.I want to show through illustration that these little “flaws” are often part of the moments when girls are actually really cute.

这部分的灵感来自大自然悄无声息地“回收”力量，同时，我也想创作一些完全由感觉驱动的作品，不一定非得说点什么自己的事。
在清迈的院子里，爬藤长得非常快————它们会缠绕在任何东西上，无论体积多大，最后总会被它们覆盖得满满当当。院子里的杂草也一样，以一种几乎令我难以置信的速度疯狂蔓延————尤其是对于一个在城市里长大的我来讲。
这让我开始相信，也许、只是也许，它们之间有某种“集体意识”。植物的根茎和枝叶只是它们为了让动物分辨的躯壳，地下蕴藏着更强大的力量和“爬藤社会”。
这个系列就是在不断探索这个想法，可能通过观察、想象或者学习？目前我大多还是从个人的视角出发去处理这些内容，希望之后视角会更好。

The inspiration for this part came from the quiet force of nature reclaiming space. I wanted to create something purely based on feeling.
At home, the creeping vines grow way too fast — they wind around everything, and no matter how much space there is, they somehow manage to cover it all.
Even the weeds in the yard spread with a kind of aggressive speed I could hardly believe — especially coming from the city.
It made me start to believe that maybe, just maybe, they share some kind of collective consciousness.
This series explores that idea.
For now, I’m mostly approaching it from a personal point of view.

这部分插画创作于新冠封疫情间，也正是那个时候，Dava这个角色诞生了。
在家里困了将近半年，当时的我真的很渴望自由，所以取了Dava这个名字。

Dava在藏语中，意为“月亮”或“月光”，是黑暗的微光，深夜里寂静的能量。
Dava在四川话里，也可以被喊作“大娃儿”，意思是“大孩子”，听起来亲切又有点傻气。
这种双重含义让这个名字变得简单许多，也很好记，说出口时还有点神经。

This part was created during the COVID lockdown — the same time the character Dava came to life.
After being stuck at home for almost half a year, I really needed something to give me hope.
In Tibetan, Dava means "moon" or "moonlight" — a small light in the darkness, a kind of quiet energy in the night.
In Sichuanese, though, Dava can also mean “big kid (Da waer),” which sounds a bit playful and silly. It makes the name feel lighter, and a little fun to say out loud.
